"You don't know her?" Caesar asked, equally perplexed. "How comes he doesn't remember you?" His last question was directed to me.

"Probably because it has been a long time since we last met." I lied, trying my best to sound as convincing as possible. "I also know your brother, Diego. Is he here as well?"

"It happens." Caesar shook his head. "I sometimes don't recognize some of my dad's business partners."

If the situation had permitted it, I would have rolled my eyes at him. I wasn't even speaking to him. I smiled - at least I had gotten away with this one.

"That can't be." Sergio interjected. "I'm pretty sure I have never seen you before, but that doesn't matter right now." He waved a hand dismissively. "I need to leave. I have some guests I need to attend to."
