Maddox rested his tired head on the desk in front of him in the wee hours of the morning. He had spent the night at the police station, waiting for an update on Iris. Officer Shelby had to leave on an important case, handing the job over to the team.

They had been waiting for the women to calm down before raiding the place. Even at 2 am, Lucille and her friends hadn’t settled down. What was going on?

“They’re escaping without Ms. Hansley.” A team member informed. “We’re closing in.”

Officer Stewart rushed out to his car with Officer Dallas. “Something is wrong, Dallas. These women are escaping without their prisoner. Either they’ve killed her, or she’s in a serious condition. We must rescue her.”

Maddox rushed after them. “I’ll follow you, Officer Stewart. I can’t stay here and wait for an update.”
