CHAPTER 50— FALLING APART

Celia clenched her fists, her eyes darting away from Xavier's. "I interrupted something important it seems...I'll give you guys back your privacy since I now know that you both are fine."

She turned on her heels, stomping forward with a heart as dense as led. Pain...it was really all she could feel, the same pain she thought she had forgotten.

"Celia! Look I—"

"Celia look..." He grabbed at her arm, stopping her movements and Celia turned to him, glaring with eyes that seemed to have fire in them. "You know how we are, I was just angry, I didn't mean it."
