I woke up feeling like someone was watching me. I opened my eyes to see Carlew smiling widely at me. It's my first time waking up to him, and I can't explain how happy I am.

"Good morning, baby," he greeted. I blushed at the endearment, finding it sweet music to my ears.

"Good morning too," I replied, meeting his gaze, but I sensed disappointment in his eyes.

"Baby," I bit my lip, feeling shy. His intense stare made me uneasy, and I couldn't face him.
