"You do?" Hazel sounded relieved, yet bothered at the same time. I nodded in affirmation.

"Pregnant?" I repeated after the doctor. I was sure I had heard him wrong. "Excuse me?" I alarmed, afraid to face the words I had just heard. I could feel myself getting choked up by the air around me. It was eerie. It was almost six in the evening. Sam and I were back from the hospital. I had made sure he went through the proper examination and that his ailment was diagnosed before we came back to his condo. Thankfully, he was not stuck in a situation so worse that he was unable to return to his base. Upon my arrival at his place and seeing him so inactive, I had expected him to be hospitalized but he took me by surprise, still standing tall to his feet, a lot more strengthened than previously.The doctor had administered some pills that would ease his pain and commit him to healing as soon as he could keep up with dedication.
