CHAPTER 04

Neha was sitting in the back seat of the car with that strange man. She looked at the driver and back to that strange man. "I just have to take care of this idiot with me. The driver sure is a lazy bottom. He won't be any problem for me." Neha thought and looked at the man sitting beside her.

"Please let me go. I don't know who you are  and what do you want?" Neha said between her dramatical sobs.

"So now you don't even know him?" The driver asked and she glared at him.

"Keep your mouth zipped doofus or I will do that for you." Neha yelled and the driver's eyes widened in shock.

"Please, I swear I haven't seen you in my life or heard about you. Please let me go." Neha pleaded again.

"Shut up or I will make you." The strange man yelled at her. Neha's anger rose and she slapped him hard on his face. The driver hit the breaks as hard as he could and looked back. Strange man was still in shock. His hand reached the spot where Neha's palm collided with his cheek. He rubbed his cheek then turned to her. He grabbed her both wrists and pinned her on the car seat and held both of her hands above her head. He looked straight into her eyes. He looked very angry. She struggled hard to get herself free from his hold. His anger melted away as he looked at her, blushing hard beneath him. Her cheeks were pink and her breaths were uneven. He could hear her heart drumming hard under her ribcage. He smirked and leaned over her ear.

"I will make sure you will kiss me tonight on the same cheek you have just slapped." He whispered in her ear and she held her breath. He let go of her wrists and sat straight on the seat. She wanted to say something but her voice betrayed her.

"Why have you stopped driving? We need to be there on time. Hurry up." That strange man said to the driver and he quickly drove off. After an hour, the car stopped in front of a house. He grabbed her wrist and pulled her out of the car. He instructed the driver to park the car and started pulling her inside the house.

"No, help, help somebody. Stop, I'm not that kind of girl. I won't let you touch me." She said that and slapped him again even harder. He grabbed her by her neck but carefully, his hold didn't choke her or hurt her. He pulled her close and glared at her.

"You slap me one more time Neha and I swear to God, I will make you kiss my cheeks ten times." He warned her and she got scared. He pulled her into the house and took her to a room. He pushed her on the bed and held a red dress in front of her.

"You have 10 minutes. Wear this dress, get ready. The Qazi will be here any minute, so hurry up." He said and exited the room. He shut the door behind. She looked at the dress and a small smile appeared on her face. It was the same dress she wanted to wear at her wedding. She looked at herself in the mirror and thought about her options. She looked for a way to get out but there weren't any. She decided to get ready as it was the only way to be out of the situation she was in. She wore the dress that was given to her and applied some makeup on her face. She knocked at the door and it opened.

"You are ready in eight minutes, I'm impressed. Now let's go." He said. He grabbed her hand and pulled her towards the drawing room. A Qazi was already seated there. Qazi looked at Neha who was sobbing quietly. Neha looked at Qazi and now she was sure that he wasn't joking when he said he wants to marry her. She looked at all of his friends standing around. They all looked decent and well educated. Not culprits like Arman's friends who drool over her head to toe shamelessly. Qazi stood up and pointed a finger at Neha.

"Is this the bridge we were waiting for?" Qazi asked and the strange man nodded.

"I need to talk to her but alone." Qazi said firmly and guided Neha out of the room.

"What is  your name, daughter?" Qazi asked.

"Neha, my name is Neha Samad." Neha replied nervously.

"What a pretty name your parents have given you. Now tell me where are your parents?" Qazi asked.

"They passed away." Neha replied.

"May they both rest in peace, amen. Did they force you to come here? Qazi asked.

"Yes, they kidnapped me from my University." Neha replied honestly.

"Then I won't let him force you into this marriage. Don't worry, I'll get you out of here." Qazi said.

"Aren't you here for this job? You better do what you are here to do." Neha replied.

"Don't be scared of these stupid people. I will get you out of here and take you to your home. And I'll make sure they won't trouble you anymore, especially Azfar Raheem." Qazi assured her.

"Who is Azfar Raheem?" Neha asked.

"The one who wants to marry you, his name is Azfar Raheem." Qazi replied.

"No no, you don't understand. You have to do it. He is better than the person my father had chosen for me. I'm telling you, if you tried anything to stop this nikan, I'll make sure to get your license cancelled. You are not doing anything. If I want to marry him, what's your problem then?" Neha replied and Qazi stared at her with wide eyes.

"Alright then. If you are happy then I can do that." Qazi replied once he recovered from the shock Neha had given to him.

"But make sure they won't know that I am getting married happily." Neha whispered playfully.

"And why is that?" Qazi asked.

"They have kidnapped me. They can't know that I am happily married to my kidnapper or he will think that I am a bad lady." Neha replied.

"You want me to lie to them. I can't do that." Qazi said.

"Uff, just do what you are here to do. I'll lie to them myself. Okay?" Neha asked and Qazi nodded his head. She started fake sobbing again and Qazi chuckled. He took her back to the drawing room. Qazi asked them to accept each other three times, they both accepted. Then they signed the marriage certificate and Qazi announced them both as husband and wife and congratulated them both. Neha kept sobbing dramatically and Qazi prayed for them both and left. Azfar grabbed Neha's hand and took her to the car. He made her sit in the car, then he sat on the driving seat and they drove off. Azfar took her back to her uncle's house where Arshad was standing on the door, fuming in anger. Neha stepped out of the car and ran to her uncle. She wanted to tell him everything that had happened to her but suddenly she saw Arshad's hand raised and swang in the air. Neha closed her eyes in fear of a slap.
