Chloe had just returned home from the company after the day's work. The past few weeks have been a tough one for her as she had to watch over the VIP at the hotel, on top of that she got into many fights with Kelvin unprovoked.

During one of the fights, she had said hurtful things to him. She even went as far as telling him off about not being interested in getting married to a person like him ahi k had greatly angered Kelvin–due to this, he has been keeping his distance from her the entire time.

Both Aiden and Audrey tried to bring them back together but it wasn't working out either.

Claire was not at home when she came back, while Audrey was in her room working on her homework. when she saw Chloe at the door, she shrugged her shoulders and continued working.

Chloe exhaled as she went back to the kitchen to prepare dinner for them.

As soon as she set the ingredients on the table, her phone suddenly rang as she quickly wiped her hands on the apron before
