When they got to the top of the hill, Kera gulped from beside Elijah, who was too engrossed by the strange glow the red moon cast down on them. The place seemed even more sinister than on any other night. The place was also silent and all he could do was wait until the enemies break the line.

"Do you think Murmalaid would have helped us out in this situation?" Kera asked.

Elijah glanced down at her. "No, because things have changed, but even then, I doubt the fates or gods would have let her interfere. There are no more humans to worry about."

Kera nodded. "I guess you are right."

Scarlet looked over at her brother, giving him a smile because of how brave he was. When she looked back out, she could see the flames that had engulfed parts of the village.

"It's a good thing we thought of evacuating the village and an even better idea to have our people set up out there."

Horatio held her hand.

"It is a good thing Miley isn't here to see all this. She would be crying by now." Nikki joked,
