All words were silenced by his kiss, his lips were incredibly soft and the kiss was addictive.

Although it started as something forced, it quickly became something she craved and she eagerly kissed him back.

They teased each other as if in a competition to see who would succumb first.

Serena, with alcohol in her system and a warmth spreading through her body, felt like she was going to explode from Damien's teasing. She just needed an outlet for all that heat.

Damien, with his seemingly cold heart, had lips that were not only soft but also cool, like delicious jelly, making her want to nibble them to quench the fire within her.

His hands moved swiftly over Serena's body, noticing the rising heat emanating from her. His gaze darkened with intensity.

Suddenly, he cursed under his breath and tore her clothes apart in one swift motion. Serena barely had time to react.

Her husband was so rough, ripping her clothes like that. How was she supposed to go back without them? This bad man, was he doing it on purpose?

Whether it was intentional or not, Damien wasn't ready to discuss it. He was more focused on punishing this restless woman, making her regret ever provoking him.

This woman was one thing, but the fact that she dared to take something to enhance her mood was what really set Damien's anger ablaze.

His actions were anything but gentle; they were downright rough. Serena's rationality was completely shattered and she found herself craving Damien's straightforward intensity.

It was as if their bodies had reached an unspoken agreement, each taking and giving in turn.

After three exhausting hours, Serena was too tired to even lift a finger. This man was something else.

Damien emerged from the shower, wrapped in a robe, with a noticeable scratch across his chest—a testament to their recent passionate encounter.

Serena's gaze was bold and unrestrained as she admired his well-toned physique. Droplets of water traced down his defined muscles and the towel draped over him seemed to hold a tantalizing allure.

Under the dim light, she unabashedly took in every inch of him from top to bottom.

Though she'd touched him many times before, he remained irresistibly captivating.

Damien didn't shy away from her brazen stare, allowing her eyes to roam freely over him.

"Ready for another round?”

"Mr. Kade, you're full of energy, but I must admit defeat," Serena replied with a playful smile.

"Weren't you just keeping up? What's changed?"

Serena couldn't back down from a challenge like this. She smirked, "Honey, I've heard too much can be bad for you. I'm just looking out for you. There's always tomorrow..."

Damien didn't call her bluff. Instead, he dressed and approached the sofa, lifting Serena's chin with his hand. "Let me warn you, as my wife, staying in line is the least I expect. If I catch you misbehaving again, don't blame me for being harsh."

"If you're looking for fun or excitement, you can always come to me. I'll make sure you're satisfied since our chemistry is undeniable..."

Damein released her chin and gently patted her rosy cheek. "Got it?"

Serena suddenly burst into laughter, her eyes filled with blatant teasing.

"Mr. Kade, are you kidding? You've been having way more fun out there than I have! I'm just playing around, but you've been making headlines with the real deal. Haven't you noticed?"

Damein raised an eyebrow slightly. "You shouldn't believe those gossip stories..."

"Come on, Mr. Kade, can't own up to your actions? What kind of man does that make you?"

Damein looked at Serena's face and suddenly smiled. "What? Are you jealous?"

Serena quickly shook her head. "Not at all, not at all. It's all just fun and games. But next time, use protection, okay? I don't want to catch anything."

Damein's expression darkened instantly.

After a moment, he turned and walked away.

Serena lay back on the large sofa, feeling satisfied as she watched Damien leave in anger. "Mr. Kade, you ruined my clothes. You owe me a new outfit, don't you think?"

Damien had reached the door but paused at her words.

After he left, he still arranged for someone to deliver a dress to Serena and even had someone personally escort her home.

When Serena changed into the dress, she noticed two men, looking like bodyguards, standing outside the door.

Serena thought, "Seriously?"

Damien had actually sent people to keep an eye on her. How shameless could he be?

The dress he sent was a long black gown.

On Serena, it looked like a black rose blooming in the night, striking and radiant.

The two bodyguards glanced at her briefly before quickly averting their eyes, not daring to look any longer.

Serena stepped out the door and the two bodyguards followed closely behind her like shadows.

She turned around, flashing a charming smile, "Gentlemen, what are you up to?”

The two bodyguards spoke in a formal manner, "Miss Vale, Mr. Kade has asked us to personally escort you back, so please, Miss Vale, if you would."

The two towering bodyguards gestured for her to follow.

Serena glanced outside. It was only around 1 a.m., the peak time for the bar's lively atmosphere.

"But my friend is still inside. I want to find her first..."

The tall bodyguards insisted, "Miss Vale, you should come with us."

Their meaning was clear.

Serena wasn't pleased. "I came here with my friend, if I'm leaving, I should at least tell her. What if she get worried and call the police when she can't find me?"

"Besides, my bag and phone are still inside. Can you let me go in and get them?"

One of the bodyguards offered, "Miss Vale, we can go in and retrieve your belongings for you."

Serena firmly refused, "No way. My friend don't know you. Why would she trust strangers to give you my stuff? How about this, you can come in with me..."

Serena pleaded, "There are important things in my bag and my phone has important stuff too..."

Seeing her pitiful expression, the bodyguards finally relented.

They accompanied Serena back inside to get her things.

You need to give us a better one!"Brad looked at Serena and finally gave in, "Alright! The truth is, I was hurt by a girl once and since then, I haven't liked any other women. How's that for an answer?"The room erupted in laughter, except for Lucas, who looked shocked and Damien, who was always serious and rarely smiled.Serena didn't laugh either; instead, she seemed a bit surprised. When she got home, she looked him up and found out who he was. No wonder Lucas seemed so familiar. Though not entirely certain, he knew they were very close during their school days.Brad had been in the student council back then and often helped and looked after Serena. Everyone thought they were a couple and would eventually end up together. What happened later, Lucas wasn't sure, he only knew Brad had been in a car accident because of a woman. He had a hunch that the woman was Serena. Given how close Brad and Serena had been, it was hard not to suspect there was something more between them.Brad smiled at the stunned Lucas. "What? Bradwas just too dangerous and avoiding him seemed the best option for now.

The factory was quite a distance away and located in a remote area. Damein agreed, understanding that as a fashion designer, Serena needed to see how her designs were being brought to life. With the approval in hand, Serena set off with Layla. Layla brought along her cameraman, who had been working with her for a long time. He was professional and knew exactly what to film and what not to, requiring no further instructions.Serena donned protective gear and followed Layla into the workshop. The workspace was immaculate, with professional assembly lines in place. Having visited similar setups abroad, Serena was familiar with the operations. After touring the factory, Layla was very pleased. She shook hands with Serena, saying, “Serena, I hope we have a successful collaboration."Serena smiled back, shaking Layla's hand, "I'm honored that you trust me. Serena also pulled up Layla's return rate statistics for the team to review. "Layla not only has impressive numbers, but her return rate is the lowest. She always works with brands that prioritize quality, which is why her followers trust her choices. I've already reached out to Layla and she's interested in collaborating with our Kade clothing brand. However, her condition is that quality must be impeccable, with no issues whatsoever. She plans to send her team to audit our quality standards. I believe she's the perfect candidate for the host role. What do you all think?"Juliet was surprised that Serena had actually taken initiative and contacted Layla so quickly. It showed she was serious about her work.
