Chapter Fifty-one

Erin was too exhausted from her self-loving that she couldn’t even offer up an argument against his wish. She felt as if she had betrayed Danshak by participating in that vulgar threesome with his killer. She was a disgrace to her people and a sorry excuse for a mate. How could she allow Nikjin to use her for his pleasure like that after everything he had done? How could she allow that to happen?

He carried her into the room and laid her on the bed. “If I were you, I would enjoy the remaining days of my life instead of wasting it regretting things that I cannot change,” he said to her. “I am going out to get someone to discard Cheyenne’s body and then when I return, we shall get acquainted with each other’s bodies.”

A shudder ran down her body but she could not tell if it was from fear or anticipation. Was she going to soil Danshak’s memory by sleeping with his killer or would she rather die? Was sleeping with Nikjin going to take her a step closer to her plan of sabotaging his dream
