Chapter 13: Are you mad or something?
Princesskeno_Hi. Is anybody still here? I apologize for going MIA for almost a month and I literally have no excuse whatsoever. I fell into a writing slump and I'm back with TWO CHAPTERS in a ROW! Okay, that's typically not enough compensation but I'm sorry and I'm going to do better from now onwards. Enjoy this chapter and remember there's one other chapter after this one. “Please, can I touch your bump?” Jaden asked Jessica after he handed a cup of hot tea to her. She dropped it by her dresser and muttered a ‘thank you’ then nodded to his request immediately after. “Aww, so cute.” He said. Anthony visited the library today, after two whole months of hiding. Mr. Yugo was ready to accept him back with open arms. “You can’t hide from your destiny.” Mr. Yugo told him. As soon as they got to Mr. Yugo’s home, the man excused himself to go get a cup of coffee for both of them. When he came back to the living room, he saw Anthony undressing. Mr. Yugo paced back and forth in his home library. Anthony was mad, he thought. On his way home, he received the flier from a complete stranger. This proves that if you give power to a young person, they are prone to misuse it. Did he not warn Anthony? Did he not warn him enough? He placed a call to him and asked him to come to his house urgently even though it was almost 9PM. Jess was shocked but that lasted for only a split second. Her reflex would have made her run but she was stubborn. She, rather, brought her phone out and tried to record the moment. “Why is she so nosy?” Anthony sighed as soon as Jessica and Jaden were out of sight.Immediately, he got up and packed all the chemistry and physics text books into his school bag. He hadn’t come here to read chemistry. He came for something else. The university's mini library was hardly used because there was a much bigger one in the main campus. The main library was so beautiful and it even had a museum in it. The e-library and ‘graphic charts' that helped aids explanation for any course, was a huge topping on the parfait.So, Anthony was confused as to why Jess and Jaden had come here instead. The University management had warned that students desist from the mini library at night. It wasn’t connected to the power supply so they had to use candles to read. It wasn’t advisable and it could cause a fire. The mini library was no safe too, as it was at the farther end of the school. It was supposed to be used only in the day time by special students who couldn’t use the public library
