After his unexpected first turn, Tyr focused his training on how Zane can control his wolf instinct in his mind so he can shift at will. Despite it hard for the new pack member to tame his wolf, Zane would always follow Tyr’s advice and instructions.

It must be because of his protection necklace that his wolf still somehow felt distant to him – like a completely different persona although Tyr keeps on reminding him that his wolf is also himself.
