“What happened to your knee?”
Theo asked after showing up in front of Keira’s doorstep just five minutes after Zane left his best friend’s house to go back to Moon Valley. They were supposed to hang out the same day, but the plan totally slipped off Keira’s mind.
The lady awkwardly smiled and looked at the purple bruises on her foot especially her swelling knee, making her slightly limp.
“Oh, I just tripped on some roots last night.” she carefully explained.
Theo’s brows furrowed, obviously not believing her words. “You… tripped?”
Keira beamed widely. “Yeah! I did some trekking last night to see the full moon. I guess it was a bad idea because some roots caught my foot on my way back and I just stumbled on my own,” she then awkwardly chuckled.

This place was Moon Stone’s ‘dead-end’ so there were almost less to no danger present in the boundaries as this ends with the hills and cliffs that connects them in the deep sea.
