Chapter 20: Fire Her

Did she hear him right, did he just tell her not to leave? Nuella blinked her eyes as she stared at him “What did you say?” She needed to be sure that she heard him correctly.

“Have you gone to the hospital?”

“No”

“Go and drop that luggage cause you are not leaving this room until the doctor confirms it to me that you are pregnant” Oliver walked out leaving her standing

Nuella was speechless. She wanted to say something but now words came out. What does he mean until he confirms it himself? Was he trying to say that she didn’t know when she was pregnant? Or was he using that as an excuse to make her stay in the room?
