CHAPTER 8

Raquel’s POV

I was hesitant to leave but Sacha looked at me signaled me to go. I was phasing back and forth in our living room while I waited for mom to come home. I wanted to eavesdrop but a part of me didn't want to know what they will be talking about. I wasn't hearing any loud voices so I hoped that it was a good sign. After more than an hour my mom opened the door and I embraced her.

"I'm sorry mom. It was my idea to keep it from you and I was the one who jumped him. He didn't take advantage of me. This is all my fault."
