CHAPTER 9

Raquel’s POV

I can see that mom and Sacha was in a serious conversation. I just realized looking at them that Sacha never told me about his family ever. I had no idea where his from and if he has any relatives. I think my mom knew more about that side of him than me. It just didn't come up I guess. Two years of living with him and I had no idea. I know a lot about him but he never once mentioned about his family. He did mention that we would talk about it so I should just wait. I was never the type to pressure someone in doing something they don't want. I don't really care much about things that people don't want to tell me. If it doesn't involve me I don't really care much about it. Let’s just say that I am more focused on myself than others.

We were heading back to the house when we heard gunshots. Then I saw my mother suddenly collapsed on the ground. Everything happened so fast. All I can remember was seeing blood. I can only hear the loud siren from the ambulance. I had no idea
