CHAPTER 94
Raquel's POV
I was so relieved after the lawsuit against the company was dropped. The legal team was able to prove that the plane crash was not due to the company's negligence. Rustin and I worked things out. My conscience was killing me that I got them in trouble because of the money I gave Julie so I tried to stay away from him. I stayed with Charlie and avoided any discussion about Julie. It was stupid of me but Rustin made me realize that we are a team and things are easier when we can share our burden with someone.
We got closer during this time. I mean, intimately closer. We make love every single day. Everything was falling back into place and Julie was gone. Rumors about him and Rustin stopped. I invited Claire, James, Stephanie and Samuel to have lunch at our place with Claudette and her family who were staying with us.
