A new job

San did not know when she fell asleep last night but when she woke up she could not find Gael anywhere. She went to her work as usual and when she came back, Gael was sitting on the swing. She stopped near him who gave her a welcoming smile.

"Look how innocent your smile is. Who can say you have a lot of blood on your hands?"

She clicked her tongue and Gael chuckled softly.

"Who is this person that is giving you this much information?"

San sat down as the swing was occupied by Gael. This swing was her most favorite place but now Gael became an uninvited guest here.

"I never killed innocents."

He told her who glanced at him. He was admitting that he indeed killed people.

"If I had a chance, I will run away from here." San calmly told the man who chuckled.

"You bet."

It seemed as if he was making fun of her while San got up and wanted to leave but Gael's voice stopped her.

"You had a lot of guests today."

Gael calmly informed her making San paused and look at him. She quickly walked in front of him and knitted her brows.

"What did you do now?"

"What can I do? I am just a soul."

A smirk was visible on his face making San regret every decision in her life.

She made a fist and raised in air.

"I am not scared of anything. I am San. I have ten siblings and I am a middle child. There is nothing that can scare me."

She turned and left while Gael stared at her in disbelief. He patted his chest.

"What is she?"

As San reached to the room, she found the man outside who took her to Gael's house. He visited her few times but there was no sign of her and afraid that she might ran away, he was scared to death because of Mr Greyson.

San changed and ate before she left with the man. She was not going to play with her heath because of a man who was not even alive.

As she reached to the mansion, she met with the old man.

"I thought, you ran away."

He joked while San knew what he actually meant. He was going to hunt her down if he find out she lied to him about her and Gael, he was going to kill her instantly.

"I had a job so even if I want to I can't stay with Gael for each day."

She made an excuse looking at the person who was walking around looking at different directions.

As San said those words, a man entered the house and placed a paper in front of her. Confusingly, she picked the paper and her eyes went wide.

"I heard you applied for the job at the hospital. Congratulations, you have been appointed."

San's hands trembled no t because she was trapped but because she got a job. Her dream job. Now even if she had to marry Gael in return, she would do it.

"I hope, you can take good care of Gael too." The old man smiled softly while San looked at him and nodded.

"Yes, yes. You do not need to worry grandpa."

"Grandpa..."

Gael turned towards her rather surprised. He could not understand this girl a bit.

"I will take good care of him and I will help him wake up."

She smiled proudly.

"Now that this problem of yours is gone. What about the marriage?"

"Oo...What about the marriage? You should marry me or else I will be very heart broken, girlfriend." Gael was very amused with the situation while San killed him in her heart before she smiled.

"I know you are worried grandpa and I love him a lot..."

"You love me, aww....I am so touched."

Gael did not hesitate to tease her.

"But I have faith that he will wake up one day.

I will wait for him until then."

She tried to look as faithful as she could while Gael clicked his tongue.

"Don't listen to her grandpa. She is going to run away."

Gael teased her again while the old man nodded.

"I can see that.

But if he did not wake up in six months then you have to marry him."

"Of course of course."

San smiled as she ensured the old man while Gael sighed.

"I need to wake up soon or I will be married to you."

He whispered in her ear who glared at him.

"Why don't you visit him? Doctors advised hiring a physical therapist for three times a week. But now that you are here, there is no need for any other therapist."

San blinked not able to understand what the old man meant but one thing was clear, she was going to regret her decision of helping Gael.
