He is alive

"I need your help.

You will help me to find my killer."

"Killer?

It was an accident."

She tried to tell him who chuckled painfully.

"Accident?

I saw him with my own eyes. He was there when I died. I could never forget him."

The expressions on his face changed to anger. He made a fist to calm himself and then glanced at San who blinked.

"I know, things happened with you were not good but still.....police is looking in your case. If they can't find your killer then how can I.

Moreover, I can't help you. I have a lot of work to do... and..."

She got up and looked around. It was weekend and she had a lot of time to think about the situation she was in.

Gael looked around. It was a small room. It had a mattress, a small table and a small fridge. There was a big table on the other side of the room that was being used as the kitchen. Beside that table was a small wardrobe and then a door that may be the washroom.

The room was a little messy but clean.

"I can pay you."

He told her who laughed.

"Dude, you are dead."

"I have one million dollars in my locker." Gael calmly told her who blinked in astonishment.

"You do not have much to do and you can have all the money."

Gael told her who was standing still at her place.

"I need a shower."

San entered the bathroom and stood under the shower with clothes on. If it was a dream then she wanted it to it but after cooling her down, she was ready to face the problem.

She changed and came out where Gael was waiting for her patiently.

"Listen, I can't help you.

You better find someone else who..."

Gael nodded.

"Alright, just do me one favor.

There is an envelope in the locker along with those one million dollars. You have to deliver that envelope to my grandpa and in return you can have that money."

He was thinking of the situation and knew he could trap her in one way or the other.

He needed her help after seeing his grandfather in such horrible situation. He felt bad for the only person who gave everything to him.

On the other hand, San thought about the situation. It did not seem bad. She can have the money and then just leave. She needed money and already planned her own clinic.

"Alright, let's do this."

She nodded and smiled in a mysterious way.

Standing in front of the big building, San wanted to run away. They were going to find out that she was imposter in a second.

"Just follow my instructions."

She started walking with him.

"But I can't understand one thing. How can I see you? I mean, do I have a superpower and I was not aware of it all this time? Am I special?"

She questioned him who did not say anything. In such short time he clearly understood what kind of girl she was. Totally unbearable.

Soon, San entered the office of the manager who got up and shook his hand with her.

"How can I help you mam?"

San never experienced this kind of respect in her life. She was a middle child and had a lot of siblings and cousins.

"I wanted to see a locker."

"Oh. What kind?"

"The gold."

She replied as Gael already explained everything to her. The ammager nodded and went out of the office. Soon, he came back and asked her to fill a report.

Gael kept telling her what to write and she filled the paper in few minutes. After reading the papers, the manager looked satisfied and lead her to a room. He unlocked the door and San entered inside.

The room was filled with lockers. It was the most secure place in the world and not many people knew about this.

Gael showed her the locker.

She put the password and opened it. The locker was filled with gold biscuits and a lot of money. She blinked as she looked at Gael.

"You have a lot of money."

"Only take what we talked about."

He coldly told her who chuckled.

"What if I take everything? Can you stop me?"

Gael put a glance on her.

"You can not even take a cent more than what we talked about. If you did, the bank will arrest you. The already filled in the form what you needed."

San blinked and wanted to say something but decided to keep her mouth shut.

She picked bundle of money and put it inside her bag but she could not find any envelope.

"Where is that envelope?"

"You will know soon."

He told her and walked away while San closed the locker and followed him.

"What do you mean by that?"

No one stopped them as they came out of the bank. She realized she was made a fool by Gael. She should have picked something else too.

As they reached back to the apartment, Gael, who was quite, faced her.

"Now, if you want to stay alive, you better listen to me."

"What?"

"You came in the eyes of many people who were waiting to get to that locker. They might take you with them to find the way to open that locker."

He calmly informed her who trembled at her place. Was she trapped.

"I don't need this money. Take it back."

San tried to give him money but it fell down making Gael chuckle. He knew she will never help him but he needed her. He wanted her to be his slave that can do whatever he wanted her to do.

The door was knocked startling San.

"Oh, they took the bait."

Gael scared her and San went pale. She was just trying to get money but was stuck in a horrible situation because of her greed.

"Please, I don't want to die. I haven't done anything with my life yet. I ah e a family to feed and a lot of kids. What will happen if I died now? My parents paid a lot of money for my education."

She begged him with tears floating in her eyes.

"Alright, but you have to listen to me from now on." He warned her who nodded quickly while the door was being knocked again and again.

Gael passed through the wall and came back.

"Go with them." He ordered her.

"I just asked you to help me and..."

"Do as I tell you."

He rolled his eyes wondering why she never listens to him.

San nodded and opened the door. Outside was a man in black suit.

"Miss San." He wanted to confirm while San nodded.

"Please come with me."

"Who are you?"

"Don't be scared. My boss wanted to talk to you about something. No one is going to hurt to in anyway."

He ensured her who looked at Gael and then nodded. Soon she was sitting in a car and was going to an unknown place.

After an hour, the car stopped in front of a mansion. The man who brought her here, lead her inside. She was asked to wait in the living room and left her alone.

"Wow.

The person must be rich."

She was amazed by the surroundings when her eyes fell on the big portrait of Gael and an old man.

"I am in your house?"

She asked Gael who was standing silently while watching the portrait.

Before she could asked dhim anything,an old man appeared. San greeted him who sat in front of her.

"I heard you went to open Gael's locker. Can I know your relationship with him.

He asked her while San coughed.

"Tell him you are my girlfriend." Gael told her while San glared at him.

"He is very ruthless and might end up killing you if he find that you can related to the killer.

"Miss?"

The old man asked her in soft time while San sniffed.

"How can I tell you this but I was dating him. We were sweethearts and... oh Gael. How can you leave me like this?"

"Stop over acting." Gael was irritated while San gracefully wiped her fake tears.

"You were in relationship with him.

You think I am a fool.

Gael never had a relationship with anyone. He would have told me if he liked anyone and....'

He scanned San from head to toe.

"You are not his type."

San wanted to scoff. This was an insult to her.

"He did not want to disclose his relationship to the outside world because..... because he was worried that someone might hurt me."

This seemed like a good excuse.

"When did you first meet him and where?"

"Eh?"

San did not know how to answer this question. But Gael slowly start telling her about their fake relationship and the oldan seemed to be convinced.

"I was scared to show myself at his funeral. Everything happened so fast and..."

San left the sentence in half as she wiped her tears while Gael was impressed by her acting.

"Tell me something that nobody knows about him."

"You can ask me anything." She told the old man knowing she can answer anything because the other person was beside her.

"He had a birth mark on his body. Do you know where it is?"

The old man asked her making her blink.

"A what?"

"It's a heart shaped red mark on my..." Gael paused.

San blinked waiting for him to complete his sentence but Gael did not say anything.

"Are you talking about that heart shaped red mark?"

She asked the old man who was stunned hearing this information from her mouth. May be she was Gael's girlfriend.

"It was cute."

She added and Gael's eyes went wide. How can she say that in front of his grandfather?

"You two seemed very close."

The old man nodded while San smiled.

"Yeah, very close. But alas, he had to die in such young age. We were planning to even have kids but what we can do to interfere god's plan.

I should take a leave now.

Can the driver drop me? I don't think I can get a bus from here."

Gael buried his head in his plan while The old man blinked slowly.

"You were planning to have kids."

San thought for a second. Did she say something she should not?

But Gael was dead so she should not worry about it.

"Yeah...?"

"Do you love him?"

"Yes...?"

"Are you loyal to him?"

"Hmm...?"

She glanced at Gael who also could not understand these questions.

"Can you come with me?"

The old man asked her to follow him while Dan got up. Gael was walking with her thinking of what was going on.

Soon, the old man entered is ide a room and San's eyes went wide seeing the man on the bed wrapped in different machines.

She blinked and blinked not knowing how to respond to this.

It was non other than but Gael. He still had many wounds that were healing and looked as if he was sleeping peacefully on the bed.

He was not dead but in coma.
