The next day, San was standing in front of the elevator as she tried not to yawn. She spent the last day with Anna and it was not wrong to say she was mentally drained.

"Where are you going?" She turned her head to find Ron beside her. She greeted him who gave her a nod.

"Oncology department."

"Hm."

He hummed softly.

"I heard you went to Gael's apartment."

The question was so sudden that San paused for a second while Ron carefully examined her face.

"Oh, ...yeah.

Anna gave me a file to get his signature and then his secretary told me to go to his apartment because apparently he got shot and can't come here." She rolled her eyes while Ron tried to find anything behind her expressions.

"Everyone is so lazy here."

She didn't forget to add and Ron nodded even though he was not satisfied with her answer. He wondered if she was trying to hide anything but then he shook his head.

Even though it was clear that Gael had no relationship with her when he woke up, but sometimes he felt there was
