Illyria's POV

I left my room in a hurry, heading back to the dining area where Nicholas and Evanora were still talking and having a drink. 

“How dare you?” I yelled, shocking Evanora with my outburst, but Nicholas didn’t seem unfazed by it.

“I don’t know what you’re talking about,” he said, thinking I was a fool. He thought I was going to stay quiet while he planned my life.

“You think you can offer me to Cassius just like that? You are no better than those “demons” you all call.”

“I did no such thing. Yo
