Illyria's POV
“I found you, princess,” the man said in a deep voice, frightening me to no end. The room was getting even colder, my body trembling without control when I was able to finally speak.
“W-who are y-you?” I asked, my teeth chattering inside my mouth. Was it the cold or fear?
“My name is Eliphas, and I have come to bring you back home. You are our coven’s future ruler.”
I looked at him, not understanding what he was saying. How can a human like me rule a coven? I must be dreaming, there's no way this was real.
