Sam looked a the dagger in disbelief.

"I forgot to tell you about it, I ran into a stranger yesterday, he dropped this bag nearby, I looked for him again but he had already left, so I brought it back with me, hoping to return it someday", she raised her hand to hand the dagger over to him, that his eyes glanced at the cut that she sustained from the dagger.

"What did this happen?", he inquired.

"Oh, I was examing it, so got hurt, it's fine, it's not much, it will get okay", she responded in a low voice.

Sam took the dagger and examined the sharpness of it, his eyes were wide opened at the sight of its lustrous golden texture, he traced the gold handpiece with immense scrutiny, titling it over and over, examining each and every inch of it.

Startled by its beauty, he put it back into the scabbard, placed it back into the bag immediately.
