Chapter Eleven

Lucy stared at Savannah, she wanted to say something when the waiter came and dropped their food on the table and left.

“Let's eat.” Savannah said to Lucy with a smile before she picked up her cutleries and started eating.

They both ate silently, in the middle of their food, they heard someone call out to Savannah, and they turned abruptly and saw a lady waving at them. She was in her hospital gown and looked very pale.

“Hey.” She greeted with great enthusiasm when she reached where they were.

“Hey.” Savannah greeted with an awkward smile because she couldn't quite recall where they met.

“Don't you remember me? I am Sandra, your colleague at the restaurant.” She explained with a little disappointment in her voice as she sat down in one of the vacant seats beside Savannah.

“Oh, Sandra, how have you been? I apologize for not remembering you earlier, I had a lot on my mind.”Savannah responded and took a sip of her juice before keeping it back on the table.
