Chapter Twelve

She looked out of the car window and smiled at Lucy, who was still waving at her with a bitter smile. Even when the driver drove off, she kept turning her head to get a glimpse of her friend who was still waving at the moving car, after a while, she turned back to the road with teary eyes as Lucy was no longer in sight.

The drive to his place was peaceful as it gave her the opportunity to think about her life, which was about to take a new turn for two possibilities;the better or the worst. She didn't even realize that they'd arrived until the driver came down from the car and opened the car door for her.

“Oh! Thank you.”She said while walking out of the car.

He brought out her belongings which were in the car truck and helped her carry it into the house. She followed him closely like a little puppy until she heard a feminine voice that startled her.
