Chapter six

Being shocked was an understatement! Savanah couldn't believe her ears at all as her eyes danced around the big hall where Andy had pulled her to. 

 She looked at her hand that Andy grabbed earlier and her eyes became moist with tears. " Who could have thought I was glad when this jerk touched my hand earlier?" She mumbled inwardly as she forced back her tears and raised her eyes to meet Andy's own. 

 " People like me? Does that mean there are other women like me whom you've violated out there all in the name of your wealth and good looks?" Savanah asked but her eyes was so determined that it felt like she was going to pierce a hole in Andy's body. 

 Andy cocked his head to the side and a small smirk appeared on his face. " Women out there? Violated? I don't think that's the right word. Whatever happened between you and I was our drunken state mistake and in no way will I allow you to insult me like this! I should be the angry one here because I am sure you weren't as drunk as I was, but still decided to do that with me. Why? Is that not because you want my money?! I know ladies like you and I'm not surprised at all!" Andy berated and turned his back to leave but Savanah ran and stood in front of him. 

 She wouldn't let him leave after saying so much to her now, would she?

 She crossed her arms and revealed a disappointed smile. " You know what? After i found out about this baby, I had promised myself never to let a scumbag like you know about the existence of my baby because it would be a big flaw when the baby finds out you are it father in the future but my friends kept persuading me. Telling me to find you out and let you know." She stopped and chuckled. " It's funny the way my friends believed you are a good person because of the fake impression you presented to the world but I had no hope to begin with. I was satisfied without you in my life and I always will! I will take care of this baby to the best of my ability and I will be fine! But, one thing I don't ever want to hear from you is what you said earlier. Don't you EVER compare me with those dirty slut you've always met and don't you EVER talk lowly to me ever again!" Savanah yelled to his face and walked away. 

 She left the hall without looking back once, leaving the shocked and stupefied Andy standing with his mouth open wide.

  " Fiesty, huh? When last did someone talk to me this way?" He mumbled to himself as he watched the empty spot Savanah was standing some seconds ago. 

 Andy had always been at the top from the beginning of his life and not for once did anyone ever had the gut to talk to him anyhow. When he was in school, he was feared by all because of his background and also because of his ruthlessness and any lady he met so far had always cower at his feet for the fear that he could kill them if they misbehaved and most of them would do that because they wanted his money. 

  Some ladies had came to him in the past with the news that they were pregnant for him and at first, he was glad to be a father without a wife but disappointed when he found out the babies weren't his. 

 But it was the first time a lady so bold and fearless showed up in front of him and to his surprise, he was sure he saw the pain in her eyes. 

 " Savanah, is it?" He asked himself as he tried to remember if he was right. He was sure he had tried to find out the lady's name after she slapped him and walked out on him that day and the manager told him her name.

 " I think I really have to find out what's going on in her head. " He mumbled again and brought out his phone. 

 " Do as I said." He gave that one order and returned the phone to his pocket. 

 Savanah walked out of the big company and stopped a taxi. She entered the taxi and relaxed her head as her mind played back to everything and tears gushed down her eyes. 

 She had tried her best to control her tears when she was in front of him because she knew it would be very embarrassing if she burst out crying in front of a motherf*cker like Andy and that was the last thing she wanted right now. 

 Savanah had gone through many humiliation from the moment she lost her parents and started facing life on her own but she never let it get to her. She had always proved thick skinned and scaled through everything like a stubborn lamb but today?

  She felt all her barriers broken and her last thread of strength snapped, causing her tears to increase and she cried out all her pains. She cried so hard that the driver had to look at her and offer her a handkerchief ~

  " Take Miss. Please be fine. " The driver said solemnly before turning back to continue his driving. 

 Savanah collected the handkerchief and pressed it against her chest, only then was she able to calm down a little and her tears stopped too.

 " Why am I crying because of a jerk like that? I must have lost my mind." She muttered under her breath and sighed. 

 The taxi stopped right in front of the hospital and she came down. " Thank you very much, Sir. " She said as she tried to return the handkerchief but the driver waved his hand. 

  " No need, Miss. Just take care. " The driver said and drove off, leaving Savanah to her own inner pain and thoughts.
