Dampen her spirits

She spent the night crafting a letter of leave for the office. She had two weeks to prepare for college and she wanted to take a six month leave from the office.

She knew it wouldn’t sit well with Ava and she thought of every possible question Ava could throw at her and how she’d handle it.
