Ava hugged Ace tightly as she slept. He found her recent actions really sweet and wondered if she had finally accepted this as her life.Later in the night, when Ace began to snore, Ava freed her body from his hold and got up from the bed. After spending some time in the dining, Ava and Ace went back into the bedroom. He took out a bottle of wine from his fridge and opened it. He took out two glasses and filled them to the brim. Ava did not want to drink because she was worried she might get high and ruin her plans.However, Ace was staring at her with so much love in his eyes and she knew that it was an important day for him. After hesitating briefly, she decided to share in his joy and accepted the cup of wine from him. After drinking for a few minutes, he went to the carton and took out his coke. He poured some of it into a piece of paper and went back to the couch where he was sitting before.He placed the paper on the table in front of him and began snuffing the coke using his index finger. The doctor arrived when it was twenty-eight minutes past seven with his equipment and checked on Ace. His day had been quite a busy one. As he lay on the ground, Richard regained consciousness a while later and heard noises around him as well as his phone ringing. He recalled everything that had happened so far and his eyes instantly shot open. He saw a few people surrounding him. When they saw him open his eyes, two of the men helped him up from the ground and wanted to take him to the hospital.Richard shook his head, "thank you very much. I'm grateful to you all but I'm fine."He wasn't fine actually. His head was in a lot of pain and so was his body but he kept thinking about Ava and her situation. They had spent the past two days going around the city of Bangkok in disguise trying to find out which of Ace's houses he was actually hiding at. Richard stared at all the places he had crossed off his list and realized that only one of Ace's houses was left. However, this building which was built like a palace was situated in a quieter part of the city.He felt worried because it was their headquarters and would mostly be crawling with gangsters.
