(LUKE'S POV)

“Do you think Alexa asked Garary to claim Klaus?" Adal asked, his voice filled with worry.

I shook my head firmly. "I don't think she even knows. Based on her usual patterns of attack, she must be busy with the exchange of the girls on Grenland Island."

Adal suddenly jumped to his feet, a look of fear on his face. "What? She is on Grenland?"

I simply nodded.

"No, no, no!" He paced in panic, gathering his phones. "We must go, right now!"

"What is so wrong?" I asked, already on my feet. Klaus, who was sleeping in my arms, snuggled even closer. I looked at his sweet, innocent face and reluctantly passed him to Sylvie.

"Guard him with your life," I instructed.

Sylvie gave me a small, reassuring smile. "I would die before I let anything happen to him."

I quickly followed Adal out of the door, noticing he was heading straight for the airport, he wasn't even bothering with a car.

"What is it?" I pressed him. "Does that island mean so much to you?"
