Little over a week later, Aaron found himself walking into a room where Brooklyn was waiting to be checked. He just got back from his home town and he had not even had the time to get in touch with her.
“Hello Brooklyn” he greeted cheerfully as he sat down ,her file in his hand. “I thought I told you no more falling?”She smiled “ wasn’t my doing this time doc".He took a little moment to check her out, she was dressed in a short floral dress. Aaron checked his time, he had 20 minutes till his shift was over and 30 minutes till he had to head to the bakery to pick brooklyn up. The morning came earlier than she expected. She woke up in a very uncomfortable position on the floor, with a massive headache. Her back ached from sleeping on the hard floor. She stood up groggily and headed for the bathroom. She peeled the dress off her body and stared at herself in the mirror, she looked like a mess. Her lipstick was smudged and her cheeks were stained with mascara and dried tears. With a sigh, she stepped under the shower and turned it on. Once she was fully dressed, she sent a quick text to Tegan, telling him to come over, and then she headed to the kitchen. She was brewing coffee when the front door opened. "Brook you home!?" "So how was your date?" Peggy asked. It took a week after her date with Aaron for Peggy to ask her. Peggy pulled out ingredients for a batch of strawberry cakes as she awaited Brooklyn's reply. Friday at the clinic was extremely slow for Aaron. He left a little after 5,Which was early for a Friday. Once he finished up a few patient charts, he was ready to go home. He felt excited at the thought of seeing Brooklyn again and spending more time with her.He stopped by the grocery store on his way home to pick some ingredients for spaghetti, garlic bread and a simple salad. He grabbed a premade chocolate cake for dessert and moved to the checkout count It was already after 6 by the time he was home and about six-twenty five by the time he showered and changed into something more casual.
