Lilian walked down the busy streets of New York. It was raining and she was already soaked all the way through. Nights like this weren't strange to her. The day for the gala finally came. It was a luxurious event. Lilian watched as the elites of society trooped in. They were surely loaded. Lilian started work early. The past few days she had gotten more in tune with her work. She was however burdened with the horrifying task of taking coffee up to Damian every morning and also waiting for him to finish it up and bring the tray back downstairs.
