CHAPTER ELEVEN

Damian waited for the suit. He gripped angrily at his desk. The cleaner tried her best not to meet his angry gaze. She was quick yet thorough. The faster she cleaned the better it would be for her. Soon she was done and she took her leave. No sooner had she left, than the driver came in with a new suit. It wasn't as grand as the one he had but considering the large crimson stain he had running down his shirt, the new suit was way better. He went to the bathroom and got changed. He didn't plan today like this at all. As he attended to his injury, he remembered the snickering faces of his rivals when they saw him. It angered him and the sting of the methylated spirit on his cheek intensified it.

"This is all Lilian's fault. She did it on purpose," he thought. He cleaned up properly and headed towards the conference room. He was fifteen minutes behind schedule.
