Fifty-two

Jasmine and Mrs. Keid went to the mall, they did some shopping. Fixed their nails. Did some lash extensions as well. Mrs. Keid only left when she had a business call but before she left she made sure she took Jasmine back to Donovan’s house.

“You should sleep in Donovan’s house again tonight, you shouldn't be going home.” She had told Jasmine when Jasmine said she was going to her house.

Jasmine was dropped off in front of Donovan’s large doors with numerous bags which contained expensive stuff. Sighing she knocked on the door and then Donovan opened the door. He had seen her on the CCTV even before she started knocking.

“I see Mother took care of you.” Donovan watched her walk into the living room with expensive shopping bags. Jasmine dropped the entire bag on the floor.

“You should keep it for her real daughter-in-law.” Jasmine sounded exhausted and mad.
