CHAPTER 14

Scott glared at the large paperwork and map right in front of him.

"Any news about the rogues who had been attacking and killing members of our pack?" He asked his beta when they were both alone.

Leon glanced up from his own pile of paperwork, meeting Scott's intense gaze. He adjusted his glasses and sighed, running a hand through his hair.

"I'm afraid we don't have any concrete leads yet, Scott," Leon replied, his tone filled with concern.

"We've been investigating the attacks and searching for the rogue pack, but they seem to be covering their tracks well. It's frustrating, to say the least." Leon explained.

Scott's jaw clenched, his frustration evident.

"We can't let this continue. Our pack members are being killed, and it's our responsibility to protect them. We need to step up our efforts and find those responsible." Scott plainly said.

Leon nodded in agreement, his expression serious. "I couldn't agree more, Scott. We've increased patrols and put out feelers with neighboring
