CHAPTER TWENTY-EIGHT

ELIJAH'S POV

It's been two months since the battle that brought about our freedom, two months since my father died and two months since I took over as Alpha and now, it's time for me to be crowned.

As expected, the elders of the pack have organized a meeting so we can talk about it and put a date for the ceremony to take place.

"I hate these meetings" Kane murmurs from behind and I turn to face him.

We are walking to the room where the meeting has to be held.

"Me too Kane. I wish I could just turn around and walk back to my office" we both gossip as we walk down the hallway that leads to the room in which the meeting has to be held.

Once we get in, we are greeted by serious looks from old men. They all rise on their feet and bow their heads down as a sign of respect.
