Chapter 17

Helena's POV

"Duncan!" I shouted his name as he falls down in front of me with two stabs on his back. I immediately hugged him while tears started to run down my cheeks.

"I-It's good that y-you're safe," he said softly before slowly closing his eyes.

"Duncan? Duncan, don't scare me," I cried. I immediately tried to heal his wounds, but to my great surprise, my healing powers did not work on him. I put his head down on the ground and shook his shoulders. When he still didn't wake up, I tries to put my two fingers on his nose to feel if he was still breathing. And I felt panic when couldn't feel his breath. "Wake up, Duncan!" I cried while calling his name and still keep trying to wake him up.

Although I'm is annoyed with him and tried to escape from him but I still didn't want him to die. Especially to die just to save my life. I will never forgive myself if Duncan dies. I think thoroughly about how I could cure him. I suddenly thought that maybe through my lips I could be able to hea
