9. Tyler — Wolfsbane

I heard pounding at the door and I rustled out of bed, meeting the shades of the sunlight that poured into my room through the half-opened curtains. The alarm clock on my nightstand goes off by four thirty every morning. Was there another attack? Was it my father? Logan gave me a heads up that I'd be leaving the pack territory with Aiden today. I didn't know where we were going because I wasn't interested in the details. I was busy wallowing in self-loathe. Saying that I hated what I did to Jax was an understatement. I didn't know if I'd be able to fix my relationship with him and I'd hoped I hadn't lost him forever.

I staggered to the door, reached for the door handle and pulled the wooden frame open, gazing at the lean-muscled red-haired that stood at the entrance. It was Jax. Every trace of slumber disappeared from my eyes and a half smile tugged at the corner of my lips.

“What are you doing here? It's not day time yet.” I uttered completely unaware of my environment.
