Aria POV

Immediately the door closed shut, I heard the click of heels not even Daniel’s boots. Something sharper, meant to announce itself like a knife against stone. My gut twisted before the door even creaked open, because there was only one woman in this cursed fortress who moved like that,sharp, calculated, and smug all at once.

The handle turned, instantly the lock clicked, I raised my face from the pillow to observe who the person was. My jaw dropped seeing her, my wolf murmured her name in fear. Vanessa.
