Anika had been informed by the maids that Selene went to the market with Elara, Lizzy, and Mira, sneaking out of the palace that afternoon, telling the guards she just needed some air. Really, she couldn’t stand sitting around knowing Selene was out there playing best friends with Elara. She kept her hood low and stayed on the edges of the busy market, her eyes scanning every stall.
