LOGINVIVIAN'S POV
It scared the living daylights out of me when I looked up and saw that it was just the instructor at the front row attempting to put the class in order.
"Alright, settle down everyone."
"You will work on a short-term task, or should I say, a project. Which be will designing the costume for the choral group, who will be attending the school prom in two weeks time".
Energized mumbles rang through the class. I sat there totally perplexed as many thoughts ran through my mind. I've never been to a prom hosted by the county sheriff. I can't remember having one in where I came from. It was totally strange to me, but it was surely going to be more than just a feast.
"I'm grouping you in pairs, a duo kind of stuff, you know?" The instructor said with a smirk.
"For the prom?" I questioned.
"Yeah, I'm going to call out each duo alongside their partners, and you're going to remain together until the end of the undertaking. We got the first duo on the list, Rob and Jasmine......"She continued reading out the names till she got to Elena.
"Elena and Tyler, I hope the two of you will get along together," she said. Elena screeched in shock and attempted to cuddle Tyler, while Tyler looked somewhat awkward as everyone's eyes stared in their direction and he taught how much of a jackass his sister could be. I surmise everyone in class was used to Elena's unsteady or mutable character.
"From the readings on my tarot card, it seems we're only left with a single pair, namely Vivian Blackwood and Adolphus Creed."
"Has anybody seen Creed today?"
"He said he's going to arrive late, like some thirty-minutes from now," Devon, a blonde-haired Caucasian, echoed from behind.
"Okay, the info we got is that Mr. Creed is unavoidably absent. By the way, Vivian, I think you can figure out the whole thing by yourself. Cus, it seems Creed might not be showing up today," the instructor said assuringly.
"Sure, I will," I said and took out a piece of paper.
"Who's this guy?" I asked Elena while half of the entire class had started discussing the pros and cons to be observed before the upcoming prom. Elena and Tyler went numb, and both gazed at the empty seat.
"Oh, dammit!"
I yelled somewhat disappointed as I quickly discerned that I was currently matched with the Alpha.
Creed was so horrible that even a mere mention of his name made a rogues like Elena to become docile and inactive. He must be very hardened.................
It was time for the next lesson, and this time around the instructor was a man in his early forties with a pair of glasses dressed in some old shirts and a mismatched pair of trousers obviously made from two different materials.
The Instructor, Mr Stewart, appeared to be odd and out of proportion. He was marginally straightforward. He appeared to be adequately pleasant, however; he didn't make me feel embarrassed by asking me to reintroduce myself once again before the entire class.
Suddenly a warm, woody oriental scent oozed in my direction. I found it difficult to breathe, the fragrance was so strong that I almost choked. The next thing, I felt someone using his palm to blindfold me and later folded his arms around me.
I stifled, and the person promptly released his arms.
"Hey, What's good?," a coarse strong voice whispered in my ear. I was in absolute shock as shivers ran down my spine and cold shivers diffused all around my neck and arms. I attempted to turn him away, yet he snarled in a feral and vicious tone, making my inner wolf growled.
"I need to be certain of your mysterious identity." I muttered as I was breathing heavily.
"You have the rest of your life to learn more about me," He snapped back and placed his head over my neck. I glared, inquisitive regarding who this outsider was and why he smelt so darn wonderful! Likewise, for what reason did he cause me to feel shivery and frightened?
"Hey, Alpha" Elena made a little bow, Tyler doing likewise after her. Which made me a little worried as to the level of reverence being given to this dude as if he was a god or something.
"It seems you've heard a lot about me, right?".
He smiled as he whispered in my ear. I panted in complete shock. Adolphus Creed, this alleged startling man, is my mate!
"Yes, a lot of terrible things about you. I'm not impressed".
"Really? You don't need to start drawing conclusions. Why not get close to me and then we can understand each other? It's no big deal".
Wow! I figured out how to twirl around in his arms, heaving at the sight before me. He was hot and extremely cute. But his cuteness was an absolute waste, since his character was the exact opposite.
He had dyed brown spikey hair. I felt like I needed to run my hands through it. He had piercing dark green eyes alongside thick eyebrows.
Nature obviously made it that way to make all the girls envious. He had a pointed nose and huge pink lips to die for.
He had a strong, chiseled jaw that reminded me of Thor. I looked further down and my eye balls almost dropped out of my eye sockets. He was a great sight to behold at the same time a menace to society. I could still see his abs through his tight fitting transparent t-shirt.
Oh my God! He was such a hunky shape shifter. At the point when my eyes met his gaze, he grinned at me.
"Well, I'm still not impressed" I said blushing as I turned away from his grasp walking over to my seat. However, Creed still held my hands and dragged me towards himself.
"Hey, try not to leave me, okay?" he snapped, and I gazed at him, stunned and somewhat terrified. He pulled me over to his seat and sat me close to him. I was excessively frightened to move to another seat.
Creed threw his arm around my shoulders. He was extremely possessive.
Creed's lovely fragrance was making me not think clearly, preventing me from concentrating.
Towards the ending of the last lesson, I was apprehensive. What happens when we leave the class block? How is Creed going to react? At the point when we left the lecture hall, Creed couldn't wait to have me in his arms. He was cradling me from behind as we strolled down the doorway. It was really awkward.
"Creed, just let me walk by myself. I'm not cool with you wrapping your arms around me," I told him.
"Hey! You can't just stop me from doing what is gonna make you feel good," he snapped.
"I'm okay by myself. I simply feel awkward with you all over me," I murmured.
Creed groaned and hesitantly disengaged himself from me and settled to hold my hands for the meantime.
"What's wrong with you Creed, can you just stop touching me? I don't know you, just stay off!!" I snapped.
"I'm not letting you go!" he snapped,
and I sighed.
I could as of now tell that this is not going to end well. Nothing more, nothing less.
She shook her head. "Too tired.""Alright." Then he made his claim, unwilling to postpone it any longer. "You need a partner." He kissed her cheek, solidifying his decision. "And a family. You'll have both with me."Her eyes widened, and she seemed taken aback. He knew that she would initially disagree, but he was determined to persuade her one way or another. She needed a family, a pack, and him.Softly, she spoke, tears glistening in her eyes. "You'll disappear before we even get started. That's always how it happens. A wolf promises me the moon and then vanishes as if they didn't have the courage to tell me to my face that it wouldn't work out between us."His jaw dropped, unable to conceal his surprise. Was she agreeing to be his mate? He had expected it to be much more challenging than that. He was ready, but he needed to be certain that she was too.He stood up, pulled her out of her chair, and embraced her tightly, relieved that she desired him as much as he desired her. At l
"The Nordic bandits..." He began, and immediately noticed her slight stiffening. It was clear that her past had resurfaced, haunting her."...stole the goods from three of our merchant ships. It was rumored that they hid the stolen treasures somewhere in Belmont," He continued. Her beautiful dark brown eyes narrowed ever so slightly—a subtle shift in her response, perceptible only to a cautious wolf."My mom wants us to become mates. I assist you in locating the stolen goods, and you get to keep them, but they remain within the family," He explained.Kayla narrowed gaze intensified. "I understand. And you agreed to this scheme?" Her tone now carried an icy edge.He despised how their budding friendship had transformed into something else—a business arrangement devoid of warmth."No, my mom dictates, but we make our own choices," Creed replied nonchalantly. She relaxed slightly, though traces of hostility still simmered beneath the surface. "Well, What else can I say. Huge thanks, for
Creed guided her into the warmth of the room and secured the door behind them. Kayla raised an eyebrow, and he responded with a smile while pressing a few buttons on a control panel. Subsequently, the window shades gracefully descended, transforming the once-exposed space into a private sanctuary."We can have genuine privacy here or in my bedchamber," Creed offered, extending his assistance to remove her coat. However, she harbored doubts about finding safety in either location.Nevertheless, he helped her with her coat, draping it over a coatrack that resembled a wrought-iron, leafless tree."There are matters we must discuss," he spoke earnestly, although his eyes betrayed a captivating curiosity that deviated from what she anticipated – a demand for her immediate departure from the castle.Suppressing any overt tension, she observed as he removed his own coat, hung it neatly, and guided her to one of the couches.Seating himself at a moderate distance, he maintained an apparent nee
Creeds discussion with his mom fueled Kayla's speculations — however she was doing whatever it takes not to consider it — as she strolled with Felicity through the vestibule which had padded seats, couches, and cushion shrouded seats situated behind the fenced area of the windmill. Blazes gleamed, creating light against the shaded areas, the wood popping and snapping. Kayla felt strangely comfortable here. However her thoughts drifted back to what Creed must have discussed with his mom. Was she really the one behind the scenes? All the more critically, what she was she telling Creed about Kayla now?As Felicity moved with her into the kitchen, Kayla was intrigued by the way it was being designed, having anticipated it to be less outlandish but it turned out better than she imagined. The fitted kitchen includes an oven, hob, extractor, dishwasher including a range of fitted oak units, worktops and display cabinets as well as a double oven, waste disposal unit and an electric hob.Be th
AT THE CASTLE ON BLUE LAKE ISLANDCreeds mom was a sly wolf, constantly considering the welfare of the pack. She wasn't imprudent at all."What else mom? What are you thinking?""Kayla knows where the looted treasures are buried. She's a rogue and former apprentice to those rebel wolves who resided in Belmont. You will assist her with finding the stolen merchandise and keep her protected at all times."Kayla's safety was of Creed's utmost concern being the only the tip of the iceberg. In any case, he still had second thoughts about gaining access to the hidden treasures."I'll make show I get this done as soon as possible," Creeds mom proceeded. She immediately added, "You shouldn't waste time mating with her. Our gaining access to the treasure also depends on the actions you implement because if you don't act swiftly there's a probability that one of the wolves from her pack will mate with her.""Like seriously? I don't think they'll have the guts to try that. And what about her sent
VIVIANS POV-Leaving Stetson Street PackIt came as a surprise, It happened overnight. All I could remember was the horrible sound of a whirlwind that swept past the window. I never could predict that it will result in such a massive destruction. The mansion we lived in was ripped apart, trees fell on all sides of the apartments.I suspected Dorian Gray, but this wreckage was too big to be done by an individual.Dust covered my face as I stepped out to meet Creed, It seems we had lost everything. All we worked for had disappeared in just a few seconds.I wasn't prepared for what I was going to hear, It all came as a shocker."We need to talk" Creed mumbled"Yeah, I'm here" I said putting my hands around his neck. We've not been in terms recently, our romance has been fading.
