                 "Alpha, Sanders and a few other Alphas are taking out rebels" 

"Sanders?" Indrik asked, surprised. He would expect that stubborn mule to be the last person to turn against the king. Had he finally come to his senses? "Are you sure Sanders is among them?"

"I wonder what's gotten into him" the nicknames he'd gotten over the years were from his stubbornness in executing the king's orders. He didn't stop to think if what he was doing was right or wrong.
