Chapter 29

Alina’s POV

I ignored the call and focused my mind on my son. He felt so tired and still sleepy. Inside the room, I lay him on the bed and pulled the blanket over him. He stirred for a second, then curled into the sheets.

I sat on the edge of the bed and ran a hand through my hair.

It was going to be a new beginning for him, and I just hope that he manages to fit in as soon as possible.

While I was seated at the edge of the bed, my phone buzzed again. I quickly checked the screen and noticed it was still Alpha Kayden.

Reluctantly, I reached for the phone and answered the call. “Hello, Alpha,” I muttered.

She didn’t speak immediately. There was a pause from his end and when I tried to drop the call, he finally spoke up.

“Hey… I am just outside your main gate. I noticed you just arrived with your pack. Tell your security to let me in.”
