" Do I really deserve this ill treatment? Why does mother hate me so much? I have done everything within my power to make her love me as her daughter but all to no avail. I have even gone to the extent of agreeing to marry Louis after she threatened to kill me if I refused. Do I have to kill myself for my mother in order to please her?", Amanda lamented.

Amanda Williams is the adopted child of the family of Kris Williams. Kris Williams got married to Mandy Williams which was masterminded by both Kris and Mandy's parents and after eight years of marriage Mandy became worried because of her childlessness. Kris Williams consoled her  because they were married and not that he truly loves her. He had wanted to marry his true love but his family was against it. He said that at the right time, they will have their own child(ren), but Mandy informed him that they will have to adopt a baby girl since there has been no Improvement after seeking for medical solutions for their childlessness. Kris Williams agreed and they went to adopt a baby. When they got there Mandy fell in love with baby Amanda because of how lovely and beautiful she was. Mandy loved baby Amanda and she really took care of her. When Amanda was five years old, Mandy found out that she was pregnant and after nine months she gave birth to her baby girl, Tricia. Tricia though beautiful but not as beautiful as Amanda. Mandy found out that her husband loves and cherishes Amanda more and she became so annoyed and the worst to her is that her husband has warned her not to let Amanda or any other person  know that Amanda was adopted. Mandy started maltreating little Amanda. When Amanda was growing up, Mandy found out that she really looks like someone in her past life. Someone she hated so much and this made her to hate Amanda so much and only pretended to love her whenever Kris was around.

Most times, Amanda went to bed without food Little Amanda would cry herself to sleep as a result of hunger, while Mandy will eat to her satisfaction and also give Tricia her biological daughter enough food whenever she wanted to eat.

Kris loves Amanda so much that he was willing to sacrifice anything to make her happy. He felt that there was something special about her. 

Kris Williams, a businessman who travels almost all the time does not know that his lovely wife no longer cares for their daughter Amanda since the arrival of Tricia. Amanda never told him about it as a result of several threats given to her by Mandy.  She had wanted to tell her father everything going on but she was scared. Oh poor Amanda, would she ever find the courage to tell her father? 

Now, Amanda is twenty four years, her mother Mandy is trying to force her to marry Louis, an arrogant ugly rich man who works for a young handsome millionaire. Mandy threatened to kill Amanda if she informs her husband of her ill treatment towards her. Tricia also hates Amanda. Amanda does not know why her mother and younger sister so much dislike her. She always pretended that all was well in the presence of her father whenever he was around.  She became so confused as to her the woman she calls mother hates her so much and only care her younger sister. " Should I ask Dad whether mum is really my mother?. Mother has threatened me several times that she would kill me if I tell Dad all she has been doing to me. Father, does not know that I am suffering. How can a mother treat her own child as a nobody? I will be patient with mother and see whether she will really change for good", Amanda thought.
