Lucian gently and quietly set down Selene's head from his arm, placing it on her handbag and making a pillow out of it, he stood up and walked away from the shelter and into the night he went, fearlessly.

His eyes glowed from blue-grey to gold, radiating the fire straight from his father's throne and activating his night vision, he could see clearly like in the day time.

Suddenly, a bat flew sottishly and smashed on a tree three metres from where he stood.

He walked towards it, cautiously but defiantly, he's very composed but his mind was in a fierce combat with itself.

Getting to the foot of the tree, he looked around one more time and then, he sat on his heels and observed the strange bat, arching his head to the side to get a better view.

It was dead, it broke its head from the accident. He could tell from the fracture but the blood was improbable to be called natural; a deep blue tacky liquid.

He was very inquisitive to know what it was, so he touched it with the tip of his fingers
