"Shit." Tia laughs.

"Shit is right, check your phone." Aaliyah looked on her phone taking it off do not disturb, when she did it buzzed like crazy, she got many missed calls from her mother, father, brother, sister, uncle, etc.

"It is, 100,000, apparently it and this ring is custom made."

"You can't tell me he ain't your sugar daddy, see if he has a friend I could date, I need to get myself a man with money." Aaliyah laughs.

"Such a gold digger."

"Don't hate on me miss 100,000 dollar dress."

"It's not a lot." Tia rolled her eyes.

"You sound bougie bitch, go take a shower, I'm going to start on dinner." Aaliyah did as told.

Before she could go inside her bathroom, her phone rang, It was her mother, she sighed sitting on the bed knowing this was going to be a long conversation.

"Mom?"

"Don't mom me, you get married and don't even think to tell anyone."

"I told Tia."

"Why didn't you tell me?"

"It was so sudden, I promise you when you come to visit, you'll meet him and love him as much as I do," Aaliyah said, rolling her eyes as she said each word.

"We won't be coming until next year, you know how expensive it is, for everyone to come as once."

"I didn't say everyone could come, only you and dad."

"No." Aaliyah didn't want to argue.

"Fine, I'll see if I get you some tickets." With her new raise, she knew she could buy anything.

"How will you find the money for that?"

"Don't worry about it, I have to go Mom, love you."

"This discussion isn't over."
