Chapter One Hundred Eight

"We're really not going to speak to each other?" Dennis asked and she ignored as she slid her earphones on.

"I guess that's a no then." He sighed as he took a seat next to her for the journey back to Lagos. He reached for her hand.

"Don't you dare." She mumbled and he almost retracted it. He took the bold step and went in again this time, actually holding her left hand as she stared outside the window. She laid her head on the headrest and slipped her phone into her cross body bag. 

Halfway into the trip, she was knocked out, slow, gentle music played in her ears. In her state of sleep, she intertwined their joint hands, oblivious to what she did. 

He gave a gentle smile as he stared at her subcons
