As the huge doors flung open, her father gave her a reassuring smile before leading her down the aisle. This was it, she was finally getting married to the man of her dreams. The whole venue was already deserted but Malcolm was still having a little chat with some of his business associates while holding onto his fiancée’s hand. After driving him home, Aurora led him into the house and he slumped on the sofa immediately. His eyes were closed but he was wide awake. Malcolm was waiting for her to say she was leaving but after two minutes and he didn’t hear anything, he immediately opened his eyes and sat up. There she was, also on a sofa and she looked very tired.From where he was seated, Malcolm could see the tiredness and confusion on her face and his heart softened. Aurora was so pure and innocent and he felt like he was the one who tainted her innocence.He was the one who came into her life and brought all his problems with him, he was the one who made her once quiet life filled with noise.
