I woke up on the Monday morning when my alarm went off for work. I got up, jumped in the shower and picked out my work clothes. I chose a pair of black trousers and a pale green shirt. I carefully applied make up, I had to wear it heavier than usual to cover the bruises. Luckily, the swelling had gone down now. I grabbed my laptop, my purse and went downstairs. I brewed a coffee and made some toast. I picked up a phone yesterday on my way home from Nic’s house, so I picked it up, deciding to text Axel. I tried to text him yesterday, but I didn’t know what to say. I started to type “Hi Axel, it’s Bella, thank you for what you did.” I deleted it before I pressed send. I didn’t know what to say. I glanced at the clock. 8:15. Damn it! I should have left five minutes ago. I threw my phone in my bag and ran out the door. I didn’t live too far away from work, and it was a lovely day fo
