Aaliyah’s Return Interrogation
Aaliyah’s POV Safe house We arrive at the house very early Brandon parks at the curb and we all remain seated for a moment .I hounded the men for us to leave super early because I want to sit in for the interrogation . Settling into the back seat of Shawn’s SUV as Brandon opens the left door as Shawn and Desmond enter the front . I watch as everyone is eating their dinner quietly but I can barely taste the curry . My mind is occupied with trying to remember the driver at The Clark’s Residence growing up . Drivers and maids always know where the skeletons are kept if only I can -..I feel a warm hand on my own and I look up my eyes clash with Noah’s own and the table has gone completlety silent . I watch Dawn as she walks over to the entrance to open the door, and I hear the men’s voices wafting toward us as both anticipation and worry settle in my chest. They step into the living room shortly after, casually dressed in black slacks and fitted polo shirts one in deep green, the other in royal blue each color perfectly matching their eyes. Their Italian suede loafers complete their fashion statement reminding me that these Men, My men are no ordinary men. Aaliyah’s POVI lean on the counter watching Dawn work as my mind drifts back to Desmond’s earlier call. Goddess, please, we have been working on this case forever, and the elections are drawing close. I want him behind bars before he’s elected; if not, we will never catch him. Aaliyah’s POV After breakfast we decide to watch some cartoons with Noah in the living room. Before I can even make it out of my chair, Noah zooms past me in a blur.
