Abhaya smiled as she watched Hudson, who was now driving seriously. His attention was drawn to the road, but he soon grinned and shook.

"Thinking of something?" She joked.

He smiled as he turned to her and kissed one of her hands. "I still can't believe you're back in my arms."

"I can flee and hide once more."

His grip on her hand tightened. "And I'll chase you down again and again."

"How about Zerus?" She teased, despite the fact that it was not true. She knew Hudson was furious at the young man.

“Damn! I'll see to it that he rots in jail. ”

She did not respond. She simply kissed him on the cheek and rested her head on his shoulder. "Love..."

"Hmm?"

"What if I don't show? What if I die while on assignment? What if I no longer truly love you? What happens if... ”

"Love..." He pulled over to the side of the road and faced her. "The first thing I'm going to do is kill Farhistt for fucking hiding you from me," his expression changed abruptly, "but I don't want to talk about it anymore."
